What (or How) Do you Think?

This is a quote I found on the bulletin board next to a professor's office at NOBTS. What do you, the reader, think about this particular quote?

“The fallacy of particularism stems from the fact that God has not spoken definitively to us about everything. . . If it is an error for some Christians to make relative what God has made absolute, it is equally an error for others to make absolute what God has left relative . . . We must all think Christianly, but for that very reason we must not all think the same way.”

I don't understand.

I agree with the underlying argument, but the question is this, has God made it relative?

I think that you have to hold both with an equal weight.
