Dan Wallace and Ed Komoszewski have done an excellent job summarizing and reviewing the 2008 Greer-Heard Point Counterpoint Forum which took place here on campus April 4-5. Ed gives detailed analysis of day 1 and day 2 (WARNING! Beer reference in the first paragraph! If you're on campus, our web security might not let you access this website under the 'alcohol/tobacco' prohibition;) I really enjoyed Dan's review of the weekend's festivities. Here is the last paragraph:
"A good half dozen people came up to me during the conference, mentioning that this conference would determine whether they would continue to have confidence in the Bible or not. Some had come from hundreds of miles away, even thousands. All of them said that because of the conference their confidence that we had today essentially the word of God was bolstered."
This is what hosting these conferences is all about.
p.s. If you didn't get a chance to attend the conference this year, you can purchase the audio here.

Anyone who is interested might also enjoy reading Tim Ricchuiti's blogging on the conference to get a student's perspective. He does a great job capturing the substance and the flavor of the event.
